OFFICAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be of legal drinking age to enter.

2. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: Clearly hand print your name, address, phone number, date of birth and age on an official entry form or 3" x 5" plain piece of paper (or postcard) and mail it to: Canadian Mist/Char-Broil Backyard Makeover Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1509, Young America, MN 55594-1509 or go to www.mistologist.com/backyard/makeoversweeps.aspx. Enter as often as you like (but limit one entry per stamped envelope). No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be eligible, nor will your entry be eligible if it is lost, late, illegible, misaddressed or otherwise misdirected. Use of any automated system (e.g., robots, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods) for submission of multiple entries is prohibited. Any attempt by any entrant to use an automated system or to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities or any other methods, will void all of that entrant's entries, and render that person ineligible to receive any of the prizes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the sponsor during the Promotion Period of e-mail address changes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for any unavailability of or interruptions to any service or equipment used in connection with the promotion including, without limitation (1) interruptions to any network, server, Internet website, telephone, satellite, computer or other connections, (2) failures of any telephone, satellite, hardware, software or other equipment, (3) garbled, misdirected or jumbled transmissions, or traffic congestion, (4) other errors of any kind, whether human, technical, mechanical or electronic, or (5) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder, i.e., natural person, of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant for eligibility and participation purposes. Potential winners may be required to show proof of identification. Sponsor may require that the potential winner provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address and/or password associated with the winning entry. The sweepstakes begins 06/01/07. ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 07/31/07, when the sweepstakes ends. All entries become the property of Brown-Forman Beverages.

To enter online: Go to the Canadian Mist web site at www.mistologist.com/backyard/makeoversweeps.aspx and complete the Official Entry Form. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2007.

3. ELIGIBILITY. Open to legal residents of the United States. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Brown-Forman Beverages, their affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as the advertising/promotion agencies, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. You must be at least 21 years of age and a resident of the United States to be eligible. Promotion void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

4. PRIZE. Grand Prize: One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of up to a $20,000 makeover of the backyard/back of home including one (1) Char-Broil three-burner TEC Series gas grill (ARV $699.00), one (1) Char-Broil single-burner outdoor stovetop (ARV $119.00) and one (1) Char-Broil stainless steel rail outdoor firebowl (ARV $179.00). The makeover includes a visit to the winner’s home from a professional designer/organizer, chosen by Sponsor, who will evaluate the backyard/back of home. The professional designer/organizer will create a custom plan for updating and organizing the winner’s backyard/back of home. Changes may include painting, accessories, lighting, reconstruction (if permitted by local zoning laws and can be accomplished without the necessity of obtaining a local building permit), and landscaping. Designer will then send its crew of staff to make the changes at no charge to the winner. If winner agrees to accept the Grand Prize, he/she must allow the professional designer/organizer to evaluate the back of home, and winner must agree to allow Sponsor’s crew to make all suggested changes. The professional designer/organizer will work with the winner to consider his/her personal tastes and back of home needs in developing the makeover plans. While winner is not obligated to retain the changes made to his/her back of home as part of the Grand Prize, Sponsor is not required to restore winner’s home back to its original conditions or to remove any lighting, accessories or painting installed as a part of the Grand Prize package. Winner will be asked to provide written assurance of his/her willingness to accept the professional designer/organizer’s makeover plan, and to provide a waiver of any liability relating to any damages that may occur in connection with the makeover. Sponsor reserves the right to film or record by any means the makeover of the backyard/back of home and to use such images in any and all media now or hereafter known for advertising, promotional and other purposes without prior approval or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. A cash option of $5,000 may be substituted for the Grand Prize.

If the winner does not have a backyard or back of home area that can be renovated, the cash option will be awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted, except at the discretion of Sponsor. All taxes are the responsibilities of the winner. If actual amount of the Grand Prize is less than $20,000, winner will receive no substitution or compensation in lieu thereof.

5. DRAWING: The prizewinner will be selected in a random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. The drawing will take place on or about 8/10/07, under the supervision of an independent judging organization whose decision concerning all aspects of this promotion shall be final. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Approximately 121,600 entry forms have been made available. The prize will be awarded.

6. CLAIMING PRIZE/RELEASE: Potential winner will be notified by mail on or about 8/20/07. A potential winner may be required to claim his or her prize within 30 days of notification by signing before a notary and returning to the address stated in the notification an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If the notarized Affidavit and Release are not returned within 30 days of notification, winner will have waived any claim to the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) agrees to release Brown-Forman Beverages/Canadian Mist, their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any and all liability claims, actions or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or in connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman, for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation (except where prohibited).

7. WINNER: The name of the prizewinner may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Canadian Mist/Char-Broil Backyard Makeover Sweepstakes Winner, P.O. Box 5830, Young America, MN, 55558-5830. DO NOT send entries to this address.
